Do you prefer a regular room or are you ready for something a bit more adventurous, for example an overnight in a hayloft? Firbas Farm can offer you both. Located in the village of Cogetinci, in a rather hilly landscape of Slovenske gorice in the northeastern part of Slovenia, Firbas Holiday Farm has pampered their guests with local and carefully selected products for over 20 years. Their vision is to stick with the tradition and continue serving only homemade and homegrown products.
The estate is run by a family of four: Marjana takes care of the cooking, Alojz, her husband, looks after the wine and Williams pears, son Dejan is in charge of the work around the house and son Bojan makes sure that guests enjoy themselves.
Be it only just a short afternoon stop or a longer seven day stay, Firbas Holiday Farm is the place to be, if you’re in search of unforgettable authentic experience of the countryside or if you wish to discover numerous breathtaking outdoors in the surrounding area. You will find a great deal of cycling and walking trails, you can play beach volleyball, football, table tennis, archery or simply enjoy in the shade of the walnut tree. If you wish, you can always give a helping hand with the farm chores and perhaps help the owner to walk the horses.
If you’re still bursting with energy, then hike to one of the numerous mineral springs or to the renowned Njegova Castle. There are also many lakes in the area, which make Firbas Holiday Farm ideal for relaxing from the everyday hustle and bustle. There’s also plenty of material for history and culture buffs: visit one of the towns and villages, such as Cerkvenjak, Stara gora, Ptuj, Maribor, Ljutomer, Gornja Radgona, Radenci, Lenart or Murska Sobota, and experience the local history and traditions…
